Our in-house laboratory is fully equipped for bloodwork, basic cytologies and fecal examinations. For further or more advanced testing, we use several outside reference laboratories. Blood tests are an essential part of determining many diseases before your pets are even symptomatic, diagnosing your pets' conditions when they do become ill, or ensuring that our patients are healthy candidates for anesthetic procedures. Cytology tests determine what types of ear or skin infections your pet may have. Fecal examinations reveal parasites and other common digestive disorders.

Surgery

Our small animal hospital provides a range of surgical services with a strong focus on routine, preventive care. While our primary focus are routine elective procedures that promote long-term health and population control. Spaying (Ovariohysterectomy): Surgical removal of the ovaries and uterus in female pets and neutering (Castration): Surgical removal of the testicles in male pets. These procedures are performed using strict anesthetic protocols, continuous monitoring, and effective pain management to ensure the best possible outcome. Our surgical capabilities extend to other common non-elective and minor procedures such as Mass Removals: Excision of benign or malignant skin tumors and lumps. Minor Wound Repair/Laceration Closures: Surgical cleaning and suturing of injuries. Dental Surgery: Primarily tooth extractions for advanced dental disease. For more complex or specialized surgeries (such as complicated orthopedic or advanced soft-tissue procedures), we often refer to board-certified specialists to ensure your pet receives expert care

If you think you have an emergency, but are not sure as to what to do? Sometimes there are things you can do at home that can drastically change the prognosis of a patient on the way to the emergency room. This is why we are providing an Emergency Triage Technician Service, through a telehealth Zoom call to our patients.

Emergencies

When your pet sustains an injury or becomes ill, our hospital is equipped to offer digital radiographs. These digital images are used to diagnose various conditions and ailments in dogs and cats. Common conditions diagnosed include broken bones, joint conditions, and diseases involving internal organs like the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and bladder.

A good quality dental health is essential to an animal's overall well-being. Plaque and tartar buildup can lead to painful gum disease, tooth loss and infection, which can spread to vital organs like the heart, liver and kidneys. Regular dental cleanings treat gingivitis, remove harmful bacteria and prevent bad breath, discomfort, periodontal disease and systemic illness. Routine home care—such as brushing and dental chews—combined with professional veterinary cleanings, helps keep your pet's mouth healthy, prevents long-term medical problems and improves both quality of life and longevity.
